Richard has 25 years experience of monitoring the activities of the European Parliament. In that time he has seen the Parliament grow in size and influence and has a broad knowledge of its powers and procedures as well as experience in identifying the key MEPs and officials in a wide range of policy areas. He has personally covered the Environment, Public Health and Food Policy Committee since 1990 and advised a number of companies and trade associations on how best to influence this powerful body. He has covered over 200 Strasbourg plenary sessions and has a wide range of contacts at all levels of the Institution.

Richard speaks English and French and is married with two children.
