Sophie joined Interel in February 2007 as a consultant in the internal market practice. With expertise spanning a wide range of internal market, environment and competition issues, Sophie has experience of defining and coordinating local and pan-European lobbying campaigns for both single stakeholders and coalitions.

Prior to joining Interel, Sophie worked in the Belgian Permanent Representation to the EU and in the Belgian Foreign Affairs Ministry. Sophie completed master degrees in History and Political Sciences as well as in European Politics.

She is fluent in French and English and can conduct business in Dutch.
